Excursions
On Tuesday 3rd June Year 9 is going on excursion to Dragonera. This trip has been really popular with previous groups who enjoy the boat trip, the nature walk through the reserve and swimming at San Telmo. The weather is usually perfect in June for this trip.

On Thursday June 5th Years 7 & 8 are going to the island of Cabrera. They will catch the baot from Colonia Sant Jordi. They will have a nature walk around this protected natural park; have time for swimming and a trip to the ‘Blue Cave’.

Craft Workshop
Reception 1 is going to take part in an art and craft workshop on Wednesday 4th June. Instructors are coming to help the group make their own special crafts.

Missing Cards
The children have been asked not to bring ‘Yugioh’ cards to school. Unfortunately there were many disagreements about the cards and they were causing problems particularly among the younger children.

Last Friday a set of cards, in a bag, went missing at lunchtime. If your child has brought them home by mistake please could you return them to the office. The little boy who lost them would be so happy to have them returned.

PTA Cake Sale
On Friday 6th June the PTA will be holding a cake sale. They would appreciate the donation of cakes for this sale. The cakes should be brought to the dining room at 9:00am on June 6th. The cakes will be sold to the children at break time and home time.

Spelling Bee
It’s that time of year again! Children in Key Stage 2 & 3 have been given their lists of spelling words to practise for Round 1. The grand final will take place on Friday June 13th. Hopefully it will be a lucky day! The winner from each year group will take part in the final.

Examinations
Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 have come to the end of their exam week so I am sure they will have a very enjoyable weekend after all the studying. Year 11 have another busy week of IGCSE examinations. Their examinations finish on June 11th.
